to clinically check each horse,…… forewarned is forearmed!.. The Showjumping horses of today are no different than human athletes and sports people, attention to detail is everything.Farrier -Richard Pay
to make sure that each “Cinderella” has new shoes to go to the ball for the next three weeks of jumping here in Spain. The quality and consistency of a top farrier is vital for soundness and performance.Equine Physio - Sam Daplyn,
Equine Performance Physio Ltd – also flew in to check them all over, like human athletes they get sore in their bodies, whether it be the young horses who are still developing core muscle strength or the older ones that need to be kept feeling good!
Did someone say this was a rest week!!!
But not to be outdone by my four legged friends I am pleased to report I am booked for a spa day tomorrow! I have to be in good shape too! I love ths photo …. Team work makes the dream work!
Performance of the week had to be from the lady in my team, Deauvilla van’t Beeckhof z, who finished 5 th in the 6 year old final
. She is still so weak in her body and canter but for sure she is a star of the future… watch this space! She totally dispels the difficult, fiery chestnut mare theory, she has the most wonderful attitude and temperament and does everything with a smile on her face!
Deauvilla van’t Beeckhof z, Deauville x Contrendo II is another great young horse owned by IN Showjumpers that was bred by Stal ‘T Beeckhof z.
