Stepping up with success

We;ve had another two weeks of beautiful weather, amazing facilities and even more success for our team. The horses are thriving on the blue skies and sunshine and fantastic show facilities and we are so pleased with their development over the course of the tour.

Without a doubt, the highlight of the last two weeks was GUESTLIST (8yo stallion Cicero Z x Eros Platiere) stepping up to jump an incredible clear around his first 1.50m. The feeling this horse gives you is unbelieveable and I feel very priveleged to have the ride on him as he shows the world just how special he is.  His technique, power and agility in the use of his body are unrivalled and we have every belief that he will be a true superstar of the sport in years to come!

The young horses have been improving with each week, and homebred MEXICAN PROMISE (5yrs Billy Mexico x La Poco) jumped more clear rounds in the 5yos. Considering this is her first show- she has really stepped up and impressed us all.

BABALOU VK (7yrs Balou Du Rouet x Cordalme ) also took another step forward this week, jumping two super clears and finally we are seeing and feeling the power and use of his body in the ring that we see at home and in the warm up.  The more he relaxes in his mind and body, the more impressive and powerful his jump gets.

The super consistent mare FRENCH KISS (10yo Amadeus X Calvinos) once again had a very successful week – placing 2nd in the 1.30 big tour, then stepping up and jumping a fantastic  round in the 1.35m big tour for 2nd in a class of over 100 horses. She just keeps jumping and trying her heart out every time!

UNDICCI has been on super form too, jumping another foot-perfect clear in the 1.50m LR GP Qualifier in the main arena for a placing, and GP qualification! He feels fantastic at the moment and loves being the centre of attention in the main ring!

We’ve got another busy week of jumping coming up with all hands on deck. We’d like to take a moment to say an extra special thank you to our amazing team on the ground, who keep the horses looking and feeling amazing, who keep everything running like clockwork and work so hard to keep the wheels turning. Thank you once again to Sean Crooks who has arrived at the tour and has been training me this week - it makes such a difference having him here/

Lets see what week 5 brings!
