As a young rider Anna competed in both showjumping and eventing competitions nationally and internationally. She was on both the Pony European Eventing Squad and the Children on Horses Showjumping Nations Cup Teams from age 12 to 16 years, and in 2015 was crowned European Individual Junior Eventing Champion on a horse she had produced from a 4 year old.
Pippa Funnell
At 16 Anna was approached by Pippa Funnell to work as a rider to produce young horses at the Billy Stud. Over the next two years, she focused on her eventing career although continuing to keep her eye in the young show jumping horses owned by the Billy Stud. The knowledge and experience from training under Pippa and William Funnell proved to be invaluable both for her future eventing success and more recently her showjumping career.

Junior European Eventing Champion
The pinnacle of her young eventing career came in 2014 as a 17 years old when she was crowned Junior European Eventing Champion with her ride Touch of Pleasure. This success was even more rewarding as she had produced Touch of Pleasure herself from a 4-year-old.

IN Showjumpers
In 2015 Anna returned to her parent’s stables near Henley on Thames in Oxfordshire and for a year continued to do both disciplines. However, in 2016 having competed in two showjumping tours in Spain very successfully, the 20-year-old decided to focus on a career in showjumping. Her talents and skills riding young horses and riding on the flat, which had been developed whilst at the Billy Stud are now invaluable to IN Showjumpers, the business established by her mother some years earlier.

In 2016, during her first year focused solely on showjumping, Anna represented Great Britain at a Young Riders Nations Cup Competition in Holland and was placed 2nd in a two-star Grand Prix at Bolesworth International.

Over the past 3 years Anna has focussed on producing the talented young horses belonging to IN Showjumpers, whilst campaigning the forever young Undicci in the 2* and 3* Ranking Classes.   In 2019 two amazing young horses, L’Artiste De Toxandria and Mijneer Van De Lentamel  that she produced from 4 and 5 year olds  to 8 and 7 year old respectively were the talk of the showjumping circuit before being sold for substantial sales values

Anna has a wonderful feel with the horses, enhancing their talent with her natural feel and ability to balance allowing them to have fun and enjoy their work, whilst creating a disciplined framework to ensure they grow strong and use their bodies to the maximum as they move up the sport.

British Eventing Awards
